4月6日，欧洲飞机制造商空中客车宣布，与中国航空业合作伙伴签署新的合作协议。其中包括批量采购160架空客飞机，天津工厂建设第二条生产线，提升可持续航空燃料产量及使用等。据了解，天津新生产线建成后，将使空客在华A320系列飞机的产能提高一倍。 1985年，中国引进第一架空客飞机。自此，空客进军中国市场并不断发展壮大。近40年来，从北京的空客工程技术中心，到天津的A320系列飞机亚洲总装线，空客在华产业布局不断完善。中国不仅为空客提供了广阔的市场前景和稳定可靠的产业链，也成为空客名副其实的战略合作伙伴。 空客预计，未来20年，中国航空运输量年均增长率将达到5.3%，显著高于3.6%的世界平均水平；到2041年，中国的客机及货机需求数量将达到8420架，超过全球需求总量的20%以上。从这个意义来看，投资中国，就是选择更好的未来。
